A commercial layer for the regional digital economy
A single chain of state,
from the field to settlement.
SHBAKER is the institutional rail that carries verified identity, programmable settlement, and audit-ready compliance across one network — built for commodity trade on the African continent.
SHBAKER
An institutional rail spanning verified identity, programmable settlement, and audit-ready compliance — connecting financial institutions, governments, and businesses to a blockchain network for commercial transactions in emerging markets.
Production systems, not pilots — with a focus on commodity trade across the African continent.
The platform
( four modules, one foundation )
Deploy a module on its own or stand up the whole rail. Everything resolves to a shared settlement foundation — so identity, value, and compliance never drift out of step.
A national producer registry
( in production — not a pilot )
In an East African country, SHBAKER runs a national producer registry in live production. Thousands of verifiable decentralized identifiers have been issued to coffee and tea cooperatives — giving growers who were once invisible to formal markets an identity that institutions can trust, and trade against.
Audit anchoring is in place for the national central bank: a cryptographic witness of registry state that a supervisor can verify independently, at any hour, without taking our word for it. Export verification is aligned to the environmental-trade regulation ahead of an upcoming harvest, so that what leaves the country can prove how — and where — it was grown.
We say it plainly because the distinction matters. Our deployments are production systems, not demonstrations. They carry real identities, real settlement, and real obligations, alongside named institutional partners who depend on them in the ordinary course of business.

Build on the rail
( one interface, the same primitives )
For developers, SHBAKER offers a production software development kit that exposes the whole network through a single interface: issue an identity, verify a credential, route a settlement. The primitives you call are the primitives our institutional partners run — there is no sandbox-grade shadow of the real thing.
Engagements meet an institution where it stands. A scoped pilot runs roughly eight to twelve weeks against a defined service-level agreement. An end-to-end implementation carries multi-jurisdictional regulatory mapping, integration into core banking or registry systems, and around-the-clock site-reliability coverage.
We build for the institutions that move a region's commerce — banks, development finance institutions, governments, central banks, and commodity exchanges — and for the standards-bound systems they already trust.

About SHBAKER
( the rail beneath the regional economy )
SHBAKER builds the commercial layer for a regional digital economy — the institutional rail beneath commerce in emerging markets, with a focus on commodity trade across the African continent.
Most of what moves value in a region is invisible to the systems meant to govern it: a grower without a verifiable identity, a settlement without an audit trail, a compliance regime reconstructed by hand after the fact. SHBAKER closes that gap by carrying one continuous record — verified identity, programmable settlement, and audit-ready compliance — across a single chain of state, from the informal producer to settlement between institutions.
We connect financial institutions, governments, and businesses to a blockchain network built for real commercial transactions. The institutions we serve are the ones that carry a region's commerce:
Compliance that never lapses
Continuous regulatory compliance rather than periodic attestation. Each deployment is mapped to the regimes of its jurisdiction and stays mapped — ISO 27001, SOC 2, the major data-protection and payment regulations, and the environmental-trade regulation that governs an export.
Settlement you can witness
Cryptographic settlement anchored and witnessed on our network, rather than asserted. State is provable to a supervisor at any time, and finality is reported at roughly 1.2 seconds — so agreement and record arrive together.
Identity, end to end
Verifiable identity that extends, unbroken, from a cooperative in the field to institutional settlement — one chain of state, with no handoff where trust quietly disappears.
We operate across multiple regions, with offices in several African cities and additional financial centers spanning several time zones — close enough to the producers we register and the institutions we settle between to be accountable to both.

Where things stand
( the record, plainly )
- A national producer registry runs in live production in an East African country, with thousands of verifiable decentralized identifiers issued to coffee and tea cooperatives. See the deployment →
- Audit anchoring is in place for a national central bank — registry state a supervisor can verify independently, on demand.
- Export verification is aligned to the environmental-trade regulation ahead of an upcoming harvest, so provenance travels with the goods.
- Settlement reports transaction finality at roughly 1.2 seconds, against cryptographically witnessed ledger state, aligned to the standard financial-messaging format. See the SDK →
- The compliance module maps each deployment to its jurisdiction and is built to ISO 27001, SOC 2, the major data-protection and payment regulations, and the environmental-trade regulation.
- A production SDK is available to partners — the same network primitives our institutional partners run, behind a single interface.
- Four modules — identity, settlement, compliance, and producer onboarding — deploy individually or together on one shared settlement foundation. See the platform →
